About Steven Ward
Thank you for visiting. I started out as a painter. I love Oil Paint, but the process is slow. In 2017 I began to develop a style based on my desire to produce richly colored Impressionist images without paint. I create “Digital Images” with the look of highly layered, glazed Oil Paintings and Watercolors. My approach to creating these images is the same as when I use Oil Paint and a brush. The only digital tool / software I use is Photoshop.

Thank you Maggie, for such a descriptive comment. I appreciate the compliment and your support! There is a color version of the same image. Slightly different feel. I agree, images that capture fog or heavy atmosphere always attract my eye. They make me want to look closer and deeper. Thanks again for visiting the collection, and taking the time to comment! :)

I really like fog and the images produced with it. Here, it hides what lies beyond, setting up wonderful mood and mystery. The black and white makes this a bit on the dark side, but that is just interesting and I think it's a great image! Well done! :-) Maggie
