Serene view from the Zig Zag Bridge of the Japanese Garden at Shaw Garden in Saint Louis. One of my favorite spots for photography at the beautiful Japanese Garden. It is a very calm and tranquil place. This image was captured on a bright sunny summer day in late afternoon, but well before sunset. The colors are very clear and rich without being overly saturated.
Thank you for visiting. I started out as a painter. I love Oil Paint, but the process is slow. In 2017 I began to develop a style based on my desire to produce richly colored Impressionist images without paint. I create “Digital Images” with the look of highly layered, glazed Oil Paintings and Watercolors. My approach to creating these images is the same as when I use Oil Paint and a brush. The only digital tool / software I use is Photoshop.
