About Steven Ward
Thank you for visiting. I started out as a painter. I love Oil Paint, but the process is slow. In 2017 I began to develop a style based on my desire to produce richly colored Impressionist images without paint. I create “Digital Images” with the look of highly layered, glazed Oil Paintings and Watercolors. My approach to creating these images is the same as when I use Oil Paint and a brush. The only digital tool / software I use is Photoshop.

Steven, great talent - this is special. f/l
Steven Ward replied:
Thank you. They were seated side by side on the couch. Everything around them was a distraction. I grabbed a camera and got off two shots before they started moving out of position. In one shot Ryan was looking down and Moses was looking as you see in the painting... in the other Ryan was looking at me and Moses was looking away. Luckily their body positions were exactly the same. They were buddies. Ryan is now a grown man and Moses has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
