Artist's Description
24"x24" Oil on wood panel. High realism, with intense, jewel like coloration. The image has a strong illusion of depth. The coloration takes on the feel of colored art-glass and has a somewhat opalescent feel in many areas of the painting. The piece is unframed.
About Steven Ward
Thank you for visiting. I started out as a painter. I love Oil Paint, but the process is slow. In 2017 I began to develop a style based on my desire to produce richly colored Impressionist images without paint. I create “Digital Images” with the look of highly layered, glazed Oil Paintings and Watercolors. My approach to creating these images is the same as when I use Oil Paint and a brush. The only digital tool / software I use is Photoshop.

Most artistic beauty, Steven! love it... l/f/tw
Steven Ward replied:
Thank you Catalina! I wish you could see the original. The colors are very jewel like and the glazing resembles colored art glass. The depth and illusion of space is much stronger in real life. I really appreciate everyone's comments. Love the color in your paintings Catalina! Hope to someday see one of your originals in person.
